In 2015, Paul made this beautiful violin, based upon the 1733 Guarneri del Gesu used by Kreisler.

The back and the ribs are of Bosnian maple and the belly is made from spruce from the Fiemme Valley in the Dolomites: the wood which Stradivari is said to have used for his instruments. Paul's violin has a warm, powerful sound, with the exceptional sweetness of tone which characterises his violins, violas and cellos.
